Bringing People To Christ

Good News

In a world that may seem hopeless, there is REAL HOPE, and that hope is in Jesus Christ. People can leave you hopeless, corporations can leave you hopeless, religion can leave you hopeless.

Having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ who said he will never leave you or forsake you, He will NOT leave you hopeless!

Jesus offers this hope as a free gift, a free gift of eternal life.

  • For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. -- John 3:16

This gift is freely given to all, but must be received by each person.

  • But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in his name: --John 1:12

So how do I receive this REAL HOPE in Jesus Christ?

#1 Realize that you cannot earn or work your way into heaven.

  • For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. -- Ephesians 2:8-9

#2 Realize that you are a sinner (and everyone else in this world)...

  • For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, -- Romans 3:23
  • For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord. -- Romans 6:23

#3 Realize that everyone must repent (turn away from) their sins

  • ...unless you repent you will all likewise perish. -- Luke 13:3

#4 You must confess…

  • That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. --Romans 10:9-10

If you do not know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, is there any reason why you would not want to enter into that relationship now?

If not, consider praying a simple prayer

Dear God,

I know that Jesus is your Son, and that He died on the cross and was raised from the dead. I know I have sinned and need forgiveness. I am willing to turn from my sins and receive Jesus as my Savior and Lord. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

If you prayed that prayer today, Please tell us by contacting us at the church or and telling us of the important decision that you have made. We want you to grow in your faith and enjoy new friends in Christ by becoming a part of His family.
